Sitting in O’Keeffe’s pantry to this day, Hu-Kwa Tea, is a delicately smoked Lapsang Souchong hailing from the island of Formosa. Imported by Mark T. Wendell Tea Company since 1904, it gains its distinct flavor and smoky aroma from the pine fires over which it is dried. When brewed, it provides a bright and bold liquor with a truly memorable finish.
