And what is Georgia O’Keeffe most famous for painting? Right! Flowers.
Here is a lovely flower that O’Keeffe painted, and that inspired her:

What can we do if we want to make a bouquet for someone special to us?
Ah ha!
Let’s make collage bouquets out of pictures that we can find around the house, like images in magazines, or on the internet, or from a cereal box.
How about a shoe bouquet or a food bouquet or a favorite animal bouquet? What if you took the first letter of your name, and made a bouquet out of objects that start only with that letter? My name is Christina and I made a Cereal Bouquet. Here are some examples:

All you will need is:
• A sheet of paper for the background
• Pictures – from magazines, newspapers, the internet.
• Scissors
• Glue Stick
• Oh yes… and your imagination.
How to make your bouquet:
1. Gather your materials. Cut out images that are all about your idea – did you choose cookies, or puppies? Maybe you just like the color red, or the color blue. Oh, don’t forget to create a vase to put your creative flowers in. No water needed.
2. Design and arrange them on your background paper first.
3. Once you have what you like glue the pieces down. Give your collage to someone you love!
Who will you give your bouquet to? Will you make more than one? Does it make you smile? Share what you’ve created on social media as #okeeffeinspired!
