The O’Keeffe Turns 25 Community Block Party
Block Party is free for all guests. The Museum will be free for all New Mexico Residents.
The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum turns 25!
Join the community block party on Sunday, July 17 on Grant Avenue in downtown Santa Fe from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This free, day-long event will feature activities for all ages including hands-on art-making, food trucks, face painting, storytelling, and more. Enjoy good food from on-site food trucks and surrounding restaurants. The event will culminate in a livestreamed concert produced by AMP and featuring a backdrop of images inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s art and life, which will be crowd-sourced through social media using the hashtag #OKeeffeInspired.
The entertainment line-up includes:
1:00 PM – Santa Fe Youth Poet Laureate finalists
2:00 PM – Interactive Drum Circle in the Research Center Garden
3:00 PM – Lone Piñon
4:00 PM – Lindy Vision
5:00 PM – The Sticky
6:00 PM – Baracutanga
This event will also feature tables from our partners: Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region, Three Sisters Collective, Santa Fe NOW, Santa Fe Farmers’ Market, Santa Fe Botanical Garden, ARTsmart, and Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary.
The Block Party is free and open to the public.
Free Museum Admission for New Mexico Residents!
To celebrate, the Museum will offer free admission to New Mexico residents all weekend long, from Friday, July 15, through Monday, July 18.
Visitors will also enjoy extended Museum hours on July 17, until 7:00 PM MDT. Museum capacity restrictions in place, limited pre-books and walk-up tickets available on this day.
The 25th Anniversary Block Party is partially funded by the City of Santa Fe Arts & Culture Department and the 1% Lodger’s Tax.
