The Elusive Boundary Between Representation and Abstraction
Join us for an exploration of Georgia O’Keeffe’s iconic Jimson Weed in soft pastels. The class will begin with a discussion of several O’Keeffe paintings before participants move on to creating their own “Jimson Weeds” with gorgeous, soft pastels. Using the concepts of representation and abstraction, this class will help bring a new sense of artistry and depth of meaning to your work.
