The Museum’s school tour program is accessible to all students K-12.

Tour curriculum is developed to build engagement, historical knowledge, and spark an appreciation towards artistic self-expression through the life and work of Georgia O’Keeffe.

Booking Guidelines

  • School tours can be reserved Monday–Friday from 9 AM–10 AM year-round.
  • From December–January, school tours can be booked on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9 AM–3 PM.
  • If your group is smaller than ten students, you may request a tour or self-guided visit during open Museum hours (10 AM–3 PM) Monday – Friday by contacting us at learning@gokm.org

Pricing

  • All admission and tour fees are waived for New Mexico schools in grades Pre-K
    through 12th and college level.
  • Admission and tour fees for out-of-state schools are priced at $5 per student,
    with the first two teachers/chaperones free. After the first two, teachers/chaperones are priced at $5 per person.

Additional Information

  • Tours are approximately 1 hour for grades 5th – 12th, and 30 – 45 minutes for grades Pre-K through 4th. Art activities are approximately 30 – 45 minutes.
  • There must be one chaperone per 10 students for grades Pre-K through 12th.
  • You can request a Museum gallery tour for your students using the form below. Once your request is submitted, we will review your submission and contact you within three to five business days.
  • Transportation is currently not available.

ArtWorks

  • If you are a teaching artist with ArtWorks, please fill out the form below, and under “School Name or Organization” write “ArtWorks + Name of School”.
  • ArtWorks groups of 25 people or less can book a 9:30 AM start time. If you are interested in a 9:30 AM start time, please still use the request form to reserve a 9:00 AM time slot on your preferred date, then indicate your time preference in the last section of the form: “Is there anything else you’d like to share?”
