Fine Art Friday: Water Lillies

  • Friday, July 5
  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM MT
  • SANTA FE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM: 1050 OLD PECOS TRAIL, SANTA FE, NM 87505

Celebrate the beauty of gardens by creating your own water lily painting!

Join us on the first Friday in July as part of the Santa Fe Children’s Museum Fine Art Friday program! Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s love for her own garden, this Friday’s focus will be on another artist whose garden was important to his art-making process as well—Claude Monet! Join us in creating your very own masterpiece.

Materials include circular cardboard, acrylic paint, tissue paper, scissors, construction paper, oil pastels, and glue dots. This activity is appropriate for kids of all ages.

Hosted by the Santa Fe Children’s Museum, Fine Art Friday is a weekly program that explores hands-on art activities with special guests. To learn more about Fine Art Friday, please visit SFCM’s website.
