Family Fun Day: Snow Place Like Home

  • Sunday, December 10
  • 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM MT
  • 217 Johnson Street, Santa Fe, NM

Through a variety of hands-on artmaking, creative activities, and story time, families can share with each other about what makes their house a home!

Georgia O’Keeffe understood the importance of having a sense of place. Her home in New Mexico inspired some of her most beautiful paintings. Join us on the second Sunday in December to explore what makes a home. Is it the colors, the smell, or the people? Is it about all of that together? Through a variety of hands-on artmaking, creative activities, and story time, families can share with each other about what makes their house a home!

Family Fun Day is a free event for all who attend. Participating families will receive a pass for free admission into the Museum! Please visit us first in the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum lobby when you arrive to receive your day pass and schedule of activities for the day.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is proud to introduce Family Fun Day! Occurring on the second Sunday of every month, this event aims to bring the community together through hands-on artmaking and storytelling, as well as encouraging kids and families to take a new approach in looking at and interacting with art. Family Fun Day is offered in partnership with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and Santa Fe Public Libraries.
