The museum story

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, opened to the public in July 1997, eleven years after the death of the artist from whom it takes its name.

O’Keeffe’s houses

Georgia O’Keeffe bought two houses in New Mexico – one at Ghost Ranch and one in Abiquiu. She made New Mexico her permanent home in 1949.  More >

Research Center

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Research Center is the only museum-related research facility in the world dedicated to the study of American Modernism (1980s – present).  More >
